Offering : AFTER NATURE (2026)

This 15-minute performance reflects on the idea of land art—not as object, but as presence.

The activation was grounded in the now, honouring the environments that shape us, while questioning how culture remembers, records, and relates to living ancestral worlds. My ancestral knowledge—growing up in the mountains, worshipping nature through customs and tradition—nourished both land and childhood, shaped by living with the forces of nature.

I channelled the stoicism and discipline of Yamabushi mountain monks, forming a ritual within a soundscape of breaking glaciers and dying forests.
Each step a prayer.
Each step a movement forward—distraction or balance.

I walk a path of awareness.
A lesson we can practice daily, if we choose to pay attention.
