Masumi Saito
is a movement artist trained in contemporary dance.

With collaborative work at the heart of her practice, she has carved a unique path owing to her expressionistic and cathartic dance style. She has devised performances for stage, film and photographic projects, directing movement for musicians and other performers, presenting work on a number of alternative and internationally acclaimed platforms.
As part of the Theo Adams Company she has featured in W Magazine, delivered a lecture at Musashino Art University and collaborated with Louis Vuitton for an exclusive show in Tokyo. A member of the Eat Your Heart Out collective, Masumi has toured the UK.
３歳でモダンダンスを始める。高校卒業後単身渡英。
様々なスタイルのダンスに挑戦する中で独自の踊り方、そして表現方法を確立する。
普段はロンドンをベースとし数多くの写真家、映像作家やファッションブランドなど、幅広いジャンルのアーティスト達とコラボレーションを展開。踊り手として舞台作品のみにとどまらず、カテゴリーに捕われないパフォーマンスの形で表現の可能性を広げ続けている。
また、Theo Adams Company のメンバーとして過去にTATE Britain, Union Gallery, Hannah Barry Gallery, オーストリアはDonau Festival にて公演。カンパニー日本初来日の際には座•高円寺で公演、そして武蔵野美術大学で特別講師も務める。二度目の来日の際はルイヴィトンの特別パーティの演出及びパフォーマンスを一任する。他にもW Magazine に特集を組まれる。また、今季 London Fashion Week では デザイナー Nazir Mazhar のプレゼン演出を任される。
